MISUNDERSTOOD is a charity for people who suffer from ADHD, their parents and carers.

The charities aims are to provide a helpline for both sufferers and families of sufferers,  to help fund research into new treatments, to help provide activities, which will help children suffering from ADHD to control aggression and generally help calm them, to help educate schools and public in being ADHD aware.

We also hope in the future to obtain a building to use as a centre for both children and their families.

To obtain the same facilities for children with ADHD as they get in the U.S.A this may take some time but hopefully we will get there in the end.

We have an ADHD Consultant, on board in an advisory capacity her name is Dr Kim Selby.

Misunderstood hold many fundraising events throughout the year and each one gets bigger and better, and most are a lot of fun. We will keep the site updated of all fundraising events.

We hope to eventually cover all areas in the UK, not just the South East
